Pink Paper Flowers??
When I was first told about blip, I thought what a neat place to be able to 'diary' my photos and push myself to write in a journal on a daily basis. Then I joined and started to meet some local blippers, which was fun as I was fairly new to the area. One, I had even met briefly at a wedding just a few days before. Imagine my surprise when I was looking through recently updated photos on a site based in the UK and there is a photo of the bride of the wedding I just shot! I am pleased to call Annie friend now! The sense of community and friendship that I have come across has been, to be h0nest, surprising. I find myself looking forward to corresponding with you all in the evening after work! I feel I have grown close, as close as you can get on the internet, to some of you. Hearing about your families, your pets, your ups and your downs, your happy days and even the sad days. The healthy days and the not so healthy and even the fighting and winning the battle with that damn cancer! And, learning to live with pain after an accident :( What a wonderful group of humans I have come across!! :) I am truly humbled and a bit in awe over the super amazing comments on my 200 blip yesterday! Not about the photo, but about friendship. That's what it's all about! And, to all of you I say a heartfelt Thank You!
Now, can someone tell me what this crinkly paper looking flower is?? There are these pink ones and some pretty lavender ones. They are on the edge of a restaurant parking lot and have been blooming for months and months without getting messed up by the weather. Such beauties!!
Today was a good day
Happy Tuesday
