Little spotted shag- almost mono

I went to the marina looking for a foggy day shot for mono Monday and look what was swimming around amongst the boats. The spots on the back made it easy to identify. I knew it was different from the plumage sticking up on the head. The first extra could have been the partner. Described as a drab bird until the breeding season when the plumage sticks up and the brown round the eye turns green. So maybe these two are pairing up ready for breeding to begin.
