Blessings

I've had a smashing day despite the typical British summer weather ie persistent rain all day. Completely different from yesterday's gorgeous day.

RadioGirl and I had a juicy breakfast followed by church in the neighbouring parish. The hour and a half long service included the patronal festival, a christening and the re-dedication of the stunning 1914-1918 Roll of Honour which has been restored and re-hung in the church porch today. Quite a packed schedule.

Then it was off to the Navvy for a late lunch, which was delicious, and more chat. RadioGirl left and I now need to turn my mind to the working week. And the sun has come out. Finally. At 7pm!
