Wet Web

This morning I played bowls in the park in the rain. Even though it's for fun and not in a league we hate missing it.

This afternoon I popped to the village castle to get a blip. At the back of the castle has always been high grass and plants including nettles and wild flowers. This weekend is a re-enactment and someone must have had the bright idea to tidy it up and everything had been cut to the ground. I was horrified as it's so good for bees, butterflies etc. not to mention a good place for insect blips!

I took some shots in the Garden of Remembrance but couldn't decide between the web and hoverfly flying to the bindweed flower so have posted both.
