Aqueduct, viaduct and tunnel

This afternoon I needed to pop down to my local garden centre (no plants purchased!) While there I walked along the Llangollen Canal to Chirk where I crossed the aqueduct to the tunnel.

The photo is of Telford's aqueduct and Robertson's viaduct next to it. At the far end is a long tunnel of Telford's (so long and dark that a torch is required). It's a popular place for narrowboats as a little further along is the famous Pontcysllte Aqueduct which also has to be crossed.
