Mover and shaker

It really amazes how babies suddenly have so many potential milestones around 6mths! Sitting, eating, first teeth, crawling, first words, and a ton more.  No wonder they're meant to be able to sleep through the night at 6 months - they must be exhausted (nb: yeah, right I wish the wee lass was sleeping through the night!! Instead, she's guzzling a ton of milk!)

The wee lass seems determined to get moving on these milestones as soon as she can.  She only just mastered sitting up (altho' she still keels over regularly!) and now has decided she's ready to crawl. The last few days, she's been hoisting herself up to the crouch position and digging her toes into the floor to propel herself forward. She tends to fall back onto her belly once she pushes off on her toes but she's still managing to get herself across a room!  

It's quite funny watching as she's always headed in the direction of big brother and his toys, which he doesn't like one bit! So he has to keep slowly moving further and further away! She's his little stalker! 

I'm not one to normally hedge bets but I dare say there'll be a 'crawling' blip pic in the next week! And I'm sure the first tooth will soon follow...
