Mellow yellow

More lunchtime mooching around campus in the sun.  It was pretty peaceful apart from being shouted at by a large, black bird (see 'extra').  That beak looks like it could do some damage.

Next week is 'congregation week' or 'graduation week' as it's now being called.  The post-ceremony marquee has been erected, stewarding rota sorted (alas I can only do one ceremony this year as I'm on leave for a week from next Wednesday) and the odd (not in the 'peculiar' sense) student who asks 'Is it too late for me to register to attend my graduation ceremony?' has been dealt with (not by our office, thankfully). 

I'm hoping for some good blippertunities at the weekend as I'm playing at a local beer festival on Saturday with the uke society.  One of the other bands appearing is called 'The Cream Horns'.  My mind is boggling already.
