Time and pace

I love dandelion clocks.  And I love having time to spend as I wish.  One of the many best things about my current job is that because the campus is outside the city centre  there is actually very little to waste time (or money) on at lunchtime, which means more time for walking, looking, thinking.

The pace of my current job is also very different to ones I have had in the past.  Previously, the emphasis has been to get things right and get things done fast. Sometimes with barely time to think.  Here, the emphasis is much more on getting things right, thinking things through.  Yes, be responsive, focused, pro-active and meet deadlines but it is much less frantic (most of the time, although it does have it's moments!).

I love it.
