Happy, duck ?

Another happy day out.  I went over to Upton Warren with a good friend (who has rather a lot on her mind at the moment), to the bird hides again, and practised taking photos of the terns fishing.  It was great fun and I was reasonably pleased with some of the progress I made.  ( a couple of extra shots, one with a hawker for good measure)

But it was this happy duck's expression that seemed to sum up the day.

Whatever horrid is happening in the world, there are times when sunshine and a smile can  make it seem OK for a while.
