My life is definitely so much better this year than two or three years ago. I'm so lucky.

It feels like Sunday today after Friday off work, so tomorrow will feel extra good.

I had a hard but invigorating PT session at 9am then a delicious breakfast and chill out followed by an even more chilled swim and float in the pool. It was a lot less busy than the other week which made for a more pleasant and enjoyable swim. The temperature's been around 24C today. Just lovely.

I've been following the first Ashes test via TMS and am delighted by England's emphatic and surprising win. Long may it continue!

I'll be having a quiet evening.
