Happy Birthday Busy B

Phew. The horde has departed. It's been quite a stressful last couple of hours with L's family all tired and grumpy after a long and tiring weekend, culminating in the youngest toeing his Dad in the whatsits during a play fight, though L thinks it was deliberate. It led to lots of swearing and to L throwing up his dinner. Whoops.

So now it's time to chill.

The day staring really well with an hour long Skype with N in Kenya. Today would have been B's 61st birthday so it was really nice to mark it by speaking to him about his work and summer plans. He talked about arranging a whole family summer week away next year would quite like me to see if it can be done. A challenge.

I spent an hour or so at PPP+H's in Brackley and gave P her birthday pressie. I had a quick hug with the bubs when they arrived but had to dash for a late Sunday lunch with the others.

We had a nice chat and a relax outside on the bench and then they left.
It's been a most enjoyable long weekend.
