Tractor Tuesday....

All systems go today. First off,text from Kev to say he couldn't make it today. He picks his moments ! The silage team made a start chopping down the road,and there were 7 tractors and trailers carting at the last count. Only snag is that the 18 tonners are too big to tip in the shed so having to tip out side,making a lot of extra work for the buck rake tractor. Have a one way system going,up through the village loaded,down the other road empty,about a 10 mile round trip . Last year some of the natives got upset by the empty trailers rattling over the village speed bumps  at excess speed,so hopefully coming up hill loaded has slowed things down enough to keep the peace !
Finished the first 100 acres by 9.30 tonight,so should finish the rest tomorrow. (Will need to ,as shearing the hill sheep on Thurs/Fri.)
