Down the drain !

The drainage contractors are here at the moment fixing burst field drains. Part of the problem is caused by red ochre building up inside the pipes and clogging everything up. This is caused by iron in the soil. The solution is either to dig up and renew the choked sections,or to try jetting the drains with this type of machine.The red hose goes up the drain and water jets on the end flush out the blockages. Either way it aint cheap.
