One up on "Spire House"?

There's a house, in "our area" known as "Spire House". If you search for it 2nd, or 3rd try will yield info:-
"Spire House, a folly' built about 1780, near Greystoke, Cumbria, England, UK"
I did hear one of those apocryphal "leg-ends" to the effect that the landlord had it erected while the tenant slept, to remind him to attend Church more often. Must nip out & shoot it one day.

Extra - IF you have been following, you'll have seen this one. which is, more or less as we left it. We came home to it looking like this. Pity they haven't yet invented Smellyvision, it's a great scent.
