A little sunshine woud be nice

We seem to be in a patch of overcast weather at the moment. There were a few patches of blue sky which lit up parts of the field and the pheasants walking through the closed daisies. 
I was by myself again today as everyone else was away at work. I got abit hot indoors so went outside and sat in the arbour. It's not very often that the goldfinches stay  around when I'm outside but this one posed nicely for me.
I forgot to say last week that I heard that the rabbits I gave the school died together a little while ago. They would have been 7 years old in July. They were named Crumble and Art (Art Garfunkel ) after the clubs that I ran when I was there.
Waiting for David to come home to have dinner and then we might watch a film.
