Gordes

I am not a fan of HDR but I had to resort to it for this image.  

The village of Gordes sits on the edge of a cliff with the houses clinging on.  We are staying in a nice campsite just outside the village and walked in this morning.   

The weather has been hot and sunny and in the middle of the day the high contrast made photography tricky.  This shows one of the small streets that we walked down.  Jane has taken a more general picture.

We have decided to stay here for 3 nights and are planning to cycle 12km over to neighbouring Roussillon tomorrow.  It will be hot!  The swimming pool at the campsite is particularly good and will be welcome when we get back.
