After the rain

The rain has stopped, the sun is shining and all is well in the world!

The morning started where last night left off. Bryn had another overnighter with us and then his mum called with one of his pals from school and his brother and sister and while they all went off with Jane to the miniature pony center Mrs M and I took turns with cuddling Megan, who now at 3 months she is smiling at us. After she had fed and went off to sleep, I took Jinxy off on a nice long walk over a bit of the moor we don't go to very often, One of the stallions with a small group of pony's took an exception to him getting to close to a fold but a spaniel with the scent of something is on automatic pilot had not even seen the horses. Luckily the scent trail deviated away and all was well!

I love the moor just after rain when the sky is full of clouds and the sun lights up patches of moorland as it passes overhead. I have visited this place before and I think the water drains from an old mine working and I expected it to be full of water today. I was not disappointed.
