Under a high sky
Two days dry weather, whats the world coming too?
We got back on the tops this morning, still a cool breeze but the sun shone and it was one of those mornings when the sky went on for ever. Many years ago I met a retired sea captain walking on the high moor who remarked that a Dartmoor sky was the nearest he got to being at sea.
The rest of the day has been taken up with gardening and installing a water butt under the eves of the shed, and we have just ended our day with a glass of wine, sat outside watching the swifts and a couple of buzzards high up in the sky but you could still hear them mewing.
Its been a good day, hope yours was too
