Dinner with a Dartford Warbler

If anyone had asked me if I'd settle for eating my pack lunch sitting on the heath in the warm sunshine watching a pair of Dartford Warblers flitting about, I would have been happy to say "yes". This was just off Dunwich Heath, where there seemed to be lots around today. We saw more of these than any other bird. The weather was warmer than forecast, with a blue sky and gentle breeze. Perfect! Tomorrow might be too hot for my tastes, so a day by the sea might be in order.
