Afternoon on the Heath
We had a very pleasant walk around Sizewell Belts today. The weather has been very warm - almost for too warm for me at one point. We got back early so that Mr PB could watch football and Ascot, and I went for a late afternoon wander around the Heath. Lots of great sightings, including this fine-looking fox - one of a pair, sadly spooked by a couple of dog walkers before I could get more photos. I also saw a flock of Mistle Thrush, and albeit briefly, a Dartford Warbler. The Red Deer doe from the other day also put in an appearance, as well as a very scruffy Green Hairstreak butterfly. Another very special sighting was the rare Norfolk Hawker dragonfly, which I've put as an extra.
