Morning Woodland Walk

Such a lovely way to start the day, right?  (No, I wasn't in the creek, I was next to it).  I'm going to miss this when I get back home.  This morning I took the long way into town and miraculously didn't get lost.  I did discover that I have a couple of blisters on my feet that are starting to bother me.  I suppose that's to be expected since I've walked so much through hill and dale.   One of the best parts of walking through the woods is listening to the birds.  I still haven't seen many of them, bit their songs are glorious.  I don't recognize a single one of them though.

The extra pictures are of a little girl in the sweets shop which reminded me of a candy shop I remember as a kid.  She kept pointing and the salesgirl kept adding to the bag.  Finally, when it was full, the news that it was going to cost 2 pounds came as a bit of a shock to the little girl.  Me too.  I guess it isn't penny candy anymore.   As for me, I bought a bag of chocolate mice.  That shouldn't surprise anyone.

The second extra is a clever bird creature I came upon while wandering about.
