Raiding The Peanut Cache

This tree outside my front door has a lovely. big hole in the trunk that holds a lot of peanuts. It's fun to watch the various critters dive into it. It's usually the squirrels that provide the entertainment, but there's also a crow who shows up occasionally. Recently the Steller's Jays have discovered it and they're even more comical, probably because their little blue-feathered butts are cuter than most.
