Kayla laid claim to her kennel and elected to feel middle-aged, much to Dookie's disappointment (after lots of energetic romping earlier).

Delightful that today is still only Sunday - it feels as if it ought to be Monday, but the weekend started early (yet anther public holiday on a Thursday, so many people just take Friday off as well). The dogs appreciated having more company and more walks, although Dookie chewed through Kayla's lead. We've had to remove every scrap of furniture and plant or other object he might choose to destroy from within his reach.
