The ramparts of Joch
I made the most of my last Monday walk before returning to the UK. We did an easy circuit above Vinca, starting off at the west gate of the town and then walking through the orchards to Joch. We found a few cherry trees overhanging the road and ate our fill before finding some wild cherry trees further on with smaller fruit. These were good too. From Joch, we had a picnic and admired the view over the plain before returning via Vinca lake for refreshments in one of the walker's garden. I shall miss the walks when I am back on the flatlands but I will return fairly soon.
