Clouds over the mountains

It has been a hot and humid day. In some parts of France records were broken. We had friends round for tea and cake but otherwise it has been a quiet day and I watched Nadal win the men's final at Rolland Garros in the afternoon. The clouds were interesting when I slipped out later looking for a blip. I am not knowledgeable about cloud formations but I would put my money on altocumulus. You are welcome to correct me.
