The Barber's Chair...

T and I were up and ready by 10am, and he wanted to go to the barber's on Clapham High Street before we went for breakfast. We had a lovely stroll in the sun- it was going to be a warm day for sure.

We spent about half an hour there, and I quite enjoyed seeing what happens! The guys were very friendly, and didn't mind me taking pictures :-)
We had planned to go to the Porridge Cafe near Victoria, but a quick check confirmed T's hunch that they were closed on Sundays. We were hungry so we decided to go to Eco, a little further up the street.

We had to wait a while, but we had a nice breakfast. T is going on a diet tomorrow. I'm always dieting. His best friend is a bit of an instagram star in NL, and she has devised a food plan for him to help him to reach his goals; i.e., staying lean and building muscle. I was a bit miffed to learn he sent her the pic I sent to him of my lunch the other day, and her reaction was not favourable! Lunch  I thought my efforts were rather creative...;-)

After breakfast we headed back to Oxford Street as I'm looking for a jacket and a handbag. T didn't really want to shop (poor man), but he wandered with me anyway. I didn't find anything, so we headed back. The plan had been to have a drink on Southbank before we went our separate ways, but in the end he was a bit anxious about the shops closing before he could get his groceries, and we were both a bit tired from trudging about in the sun, so we called it a day.

He's off to NL next weekend for a stag do, so I shall miss him. I need to have a quiet weekend as I've yet to write any reports, so that will give me the perfect excuse.

I had a little nap on the train, and then chilled at mum's. It's beautifully sunny and warm, and after two weeks of having new runners, I'm about to attempt a run.....*

* The gym is closed tonight due to the club festival, so it's a good excuse for a bit of cardio, then weights on my patio ;-)
