Redwoods

This is Martin and Helens garden and it always catches the light beautifully in the late afternoon.. The main drive runs across the bottom of these trees. They must have been popular around the time the country halls around here were built as nearly all the big houses have tall redwoods lining the drives.

Today was a mixture of sun, intermittent cloud and relentless cool wind. Sick of picking up garden furniture so I have locked it away. Met a woman from near Ullapool Scotland. She was on holiday and left Scotland a few days ago and everywhere was covered in snow!!!
Now am I going daft or is it the longest day this month? And is Summer just around the corner?
