Woman gets run over by own mobility Scooter

Susan V 21yrs of age recently invested in a mobility scooter to help whilst waiting for a knee replacement (I know she is young) but she committed the Cardinal Sin in big red bold writing of the  Mobility Scooter world of leaving the scooter turned on whilst standing in front of said item. Intending to move it forward slightly she pressed too hard and the scooter rapidly accelerated to 8mph knocking Susan to the ground and pushing her into a glass oven with such force she demolished the oven. The sink unit stopped her and fortunately the car seat that had recently been taken out prevented the front wheel from running over Susans face. her neighbours heard the crash and Robert and Hugh Pottinger went into action immediately, assessing physical damage to Susan, clearing the broken glass, lifting her off the floor and making tea. Susan appeared to sustain some whacking bruises and swellings although nothing life threatening. Her left buttock is extremely painfull and has yet to be examined. Shaken but not stirred she refused to go to hospital saying 'if a horse throws you ya gotta get back in the saddle straightaway.’ The scooter sustained no damage.
