The Wind Does Blow

With winter coat, hat and gloves on, I braced myself for the walk into town through the wind and rain. I think I have got used to the warm and sunny weather further south as the whole experience seemed arduous. Later I made soup and cakes to cheer myself up. I hope the birds and their nests of young are coping in this wind. At least we saw some blue sky later today. Tonight we are battening down the hatches and staying in!
