Allo Allo, Is anyone there?

A curate's egg of a day.

My GP suggests I try the "mindfulness" app (at £50 a year), as recommended by the Torygraph, to help reduce my blood pressure.

After that non-event, we went to town to talk to Trailfinders about New Zealand. It might be cheaper to book flights, camper van etc with them, but it wasn't hard to resist the pressure to book "tours" through them.

Then I went to the Apple shop to moan about IPhoto disappearing and the fact my Mac is going really slow. If friend Mike can't sort me out at the weekend I'll have to make an appointment to visit the Genius Bar. Oh joy, 12 year old lads treating me like I'm hearing impaired and have the special needs of the over 40s.

Next stop was to mind Ella and Nathaniel as their mum had a late meeting and dad had to sleep before his night shift. The walk to the park took a while. We stopped to phone a friend in the phone box, sit on the bench in the bus shelter, run round the shelter, blow some dandelion clocks, press the button at the road crossing to wait for the green man, sit at the table outside the little Italian restaurant and pretend to eat pasta, sniff the flowers in a garden, run down an alley as a monster was chasing us, speak to a passing dog, swing from some goalposts before we arrived at the park. Ella and I have "hurty" throats and non-stop drippy noses, and it is 7 degrees - spring. Huh.
