An Archaeological Dig

Sometimes gardening is more like an archaeological dig. As I toiled to take out an overgrown formium and remove a tough, aggressive ground cover, I came upon this strange object buried behind a lot of other boisterous plants. Unsure of what it was, and aware of irrigation pipes, and tender shoots, I proceeded with care to uncover it.

It eventually revealed itself to be a speaker disguised as a rock. It would appear that the previous owners had a different vision for this house than we do...
