Gerbena

I've worked in the garden all day and am cream crackered.  When we moved here we took up a small section of lawn under JJ's office window which is north facing, put down a membrane and gravelled  over the top.  In recent weeks I decided I would like to add some plants, so today I have shifted the gravel, cut through the membrane and inserted a selection of plants to give colour during year.  In the autumn I will add some bulbs.  I now have a pile of clay soil under the lime tree which will have to be spread out, when I have the energy.

Taking our son and his wife out to dinner tonight to celebrate his 37th birthday which was earlier in the week, so apologies for the lack of comments.

Too windy to get a decent shot outside, so I used this Gerbena which is residing indoors.
