Sunny Bluebell Walk
I have photographed the bluebells already this year but it was in the rain. Today was the perfect day to see them at their best.
After mini blip meet with Wendles56 and LoveLupins17 in the car park at St Ives Estate we went our separate ways to find and enjoy the Bluebells. (We being Wilsden Walker and Rose54)
Up through the woods at the eastern end of the estate and then across Altar Lane to our usual deer walk area.
No deer this morning but a profusion of Bluebells.
The field we have to cross is usually busy with horses which causes some of our walkers angst but today they were lying down enjoying the sun.
The whole route was a delight with dappled shade and bright light on the flowers and the fresh green leaves. I chose this one as it shows our English Bluebell off in a patch of sunlight. You can see the location of the sunspot in my other extra shot.
If you like you can accompany us on our walk through the bluebell woods in my Flickr album.
Happy weekend everyone.
