Following you Mum.

Sunshine for our early Thursday morning walk around the St Ives Estate, though there was a build up of cloud as we progressed, but it remained warm.
The meadow was full of buttercups and will no doubt be cut shortly and there were lots of early golfers on the golf course.

We walked along the far side of Coppice Pond and saw this lovely new batch of young ducklings. Seven in all as you can see, sticking close to mum and dad just out of shot.
This sensible mum was keeping them away from the melee of the feeding station at the other side of the pond. The two we saw last week in amongst the feeding frenzy were no where in evidence and haven't been seen since Monday.

There is always a dark side to seeing these lovely little creatures and everyone says ' I wonder how many there will be next week?' I hope we will see all of these but I can guess which one will go missing first! Can you?
