Maymacromayhem Montana!

That's a mouthful!

Thank you to W Wombat for making my 'Triffid?' from last Saturday one of the maymacromayhem Picks of the week!
It wasn't really a triffid but a Peony bud swamped with water from the overnight rain. Surprisingly it hasn't opened very much since then.

The Clematis Montana has certainly opened though and is looking great along the back wall at the top of the garden.
After the church coffee morning (the first I have done for a while) I went up for a closer look. I was looking for a slightly different shot and thought this bud, just opening, fit the bill.

Quite a bright day but windy and cool. Hope we get some consistent warm weather soon.
