Wisteria Overload

Inspired by Trekmum's clematis blip for her 500, I went into the back garden to photograph ours that is taking over the edge of our decking.

Our garden is on a slope, so it has been arranged over 3 distinct terraces; the lawn; the pond / decking; the car parking area.

The decking has a balustrade on it to stop you falling onto the cars; and our Clematis is doing the best to conquer it.

Between the lawn and the pond / decking is a wall with trellis on it.

That is where this white wisteria is taking over. 

You can see from 364 days ago how it hangs over the path; well it is also attempting to engulf the shed in it's glorious scented flowers.

I've added the clematis to the 'extra' section if you are interested / can see it on your 'droid / iFruit.

We still have a purple wisteria that is trying to fight it's way out from under the treehouse and into the Ash tree. I'm looking forward to it doing so, and running rampant throughout it.

Might have to get in there this weekend with some string and coax it out into the daylight :)
