OMG

Went out to see Dad today for his birthday with SWMBO and my sister.

He had no idea who any of us were or why we had brought him presents.
But he did like the Tommy Cooper jokes in the card I gave him.
And the chocolate cake.

Mums new kitchen gets started tomorrow ......... any time after 8am.
Bugger...........means I will have to leave the house about 7am to make sure I am there before 8am. So much for a lie in.

We have been told that Mum is being kicked out of the hospital next Monday - that will be fun.
Just need to ensure the kitchen is finished and home care is all in place.

Tonight at the camera club we had a rep from Warehouse Express.
For once it was Nikon gear the guy came along with (or lenses with Nikon mounts).
Great being able to play with some new kit.
This was taken with a 120-300mm f2.8 lens at 800 iso ..................... I think I am in love and I want one.

The upload was taken with a D3 ........... at 11,400ISO. (note the NO GRAIN)
That was as high as I took it - and it will go a lot higher (26,400).
