What?

I spend quite a bit of time in the City Library in Newcastle, as it is not far from where I go to seminars and lectures and it is a pleasant place to sit and read. These windows have always intrigued me and today I actually found out how they came to be.

During the summer of 2007 local artist Kathryn Hodginkinson asked over 1000 people of Newcastle these questions. Their answers inspired the imagery that gives life to this window. A contemporary picture of Newcastle people at a moment in time.

I wonder what I would have answered, if I had been asked.
