On our own!

Well, not quite, but we had the whole place to ourselves at first and then, just as we were pondering whether they actually show the film if no one turns up, they came flooding in! So we were eventually an audience of nine. I suppose 5pm on a Monday is not a popular time for cinema going.

For the last few years we have made it to one film a year – the latest episode of Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit. This year we have been three times, this is the fourth. Amazing! And about time that we stopped thinking of it as a special occasion, justifying paying for posh seats.

We both really enjoyed it, but it has sent me straight back to the book and he was no Terence Stamp was he!!
