The girls were back home today!

After being mad busy with work for the last couple of days it was sooooo good to have them home!

I did have big plans for us to go to the Vintage Fair in Uppermill...but (being carless) it would have meant a wait at the train station and then a half mile walk in the cold icy rain to get there. I couldn't do that to them.

But they played all day together...and I cleaned and sorted stuff out.

Tonight I made bunting for the party at one of our libraries next week.

Really...considering how obsessed I am with vintage..I should have been a bit more 'queened up' today...but I'm not.

The Smiths fan will out...

"So, I broke into the palace
With a sponge and a rusty spanner

I said : "That's nothing - you should hear me play piano"

Wait till she watches me play air guitar.
