Protecting

Last morning on short break and noticed the duck with her 2 ducklings getting out of the pond and pecking for morsels. She is a very protective mum of her ducklings, calling for them to keep in tow! (I believe there were around 9 ducklings but only two left now).

Back home now, dropped pa-in-law home and he thanked us for a lovely weekend. I think he was happy to be home and get back to his usual routine.

Lace ladies round tonight and we had a lovely evening, although one member couldn't make it, the scones, cream and strawberries went down well.
