Mixed day .......

There is cold/flu something going around (sneezes, sore throat, aches etc) and for the past few days him indoors has been suffering. So, with my nieces daughters first birthday party today he decided not to come with us. Wise decision, as my nieces daughter has cystic fibrosis and susceptible to infections etc. to add to the situation, Lili was sick just before we were leaving so he was available to look after her.

Birthday party went well, lots of buffet food, bar for drinks (including tea and coffee!), children happily running around (and live football on the large screen) -it was held in a sports & social club.

Where has that little girls first year gone, she is growing up fast! She is always smiling and her parents manage her daily routine of medication and physiotherapy to help her have a full life.
