June 1st

Today me and Miss A were back on the road in the Fig delivering 'Reception Reads' and 'Bookstart party packs' to schools. We've done loads in the last couple of weeks.

So as I was working a longer Friday and because one of my major projects had gone tits up and I was gutted......we went out for lunch to a little hidden treasure. an Italian restaurant about one minute from the library. Valentino's was FAB! We had the lunchtime deal and Miss A went for pasta and I had a pizza...cooked in an open kitchen and tasting amazing.

Miss A knowing my Friday night plans...and my habit of not eating asked for the pizza and garlic bread I left to be boxed up for my tea. {blip}

IT WAS GOOD.

You know when you eat something you enjoy so much...you can't get it out of your head? My courgette and pepper pizza? THAT.

We did make plans to go back. ASAP.

I am SO lucky to work with Miss A. I love her to bits..almost as much as the courgette pizza.
