Goodbye Kota Kinabalu

Flying day today. We were very sorry to say goodbye to our home for the last few days.

A wonderful gathering of dear family and friends.

I had some assistance all the way to the plane and off the plane and we spotted this very pink plane as we made our way to the terminal in HK. It's a Thai airline! Need to fly that one soon.

Back to DB and I had organised, with the help of friend Ev, a surprise birthday party for Martin, for our friends who wanted to celebrate with him but couldn't make it to KK. And boy was he ever surprised, he thinks he nearly had a heart attack! Should be watching out for that now that he's 50 ;-)
