Saying goodbye

Today started with waving friends Will & Brenda and their kids off as they left on the airport bus and said goodbye to 9 years of their lives in Hong Kong.

We have seen this young family arrive here as newlyweds and watch the family grow. I visited her in hospital when both babies were born and even blipped little Rachel a few years ago.

It was an emotional send off with the 12 or so people who'd gathered :(

Then Ev and I spent the rest of the day together, sorting out flowers for Mother's Day to give out at church and meeting a new member who we've invited to join the hospitality team. Then hung out in the shops in the Plaza to scout for birthday pressies. Love spending time with dear Ev. She's precious.
