Steel n'wheels

It's been a great mother's day with our other son and family joining us for a late barbecue lunch...very special. Spoilt with a nice bottle of Italian bubbles!

Waiuku was buzzing today with the annual "Steel n'wheels" day....all the streets closed off and teeming with people enjoying  the huge variety of hot-rods, bikes, classic and vintage cars, military memorabilia and music. We wandered down and I was more intrigued by the people, an interesting mix including this chap, while the men in the family were more impressed with horse power.
