"Eat Street"

I couldn't help it tonight as we drove home through Rotorua after a rather long day.....I just couldn't not take a photo as the light in Eat Street just after six o'clock was looking magic. Still enough light in the sky to give some definition to the lights, didn't have my tripod so wacked the ISO up and this is the result. Eat Street has been developed over the past 12 months, closing off a part of Tutaneki Street where many cafe's and restaurants are and creating a space where people gather, eat party...and often there is live music, a great party space. 

We collected Ian's Mum today and went to my sister in laws Dad's funeral ( a great celebration of a wonderful life of 92 years), and Mum (Heatherbelle) has come back to the lake with us for the week.  She has an iPad and loves checking up on Blip to see what I have been up to as well as a number of my fellow blippers.
