All ready to party...

woke at 5am and didn't go back to sleep. know it's a long and busy day ahead, so got up early to make a start in preparation for tomorrow. off for more shopping first thing, booze this time, port (to go with the fab cheese selection), gin (to go with the tonic), whisky (to keep us warm tomorrow!), and of course a couple of boxes of vino.

the weather for tomorrow is definately looking grim, heavy rain predicted, and oh my how it's turned cooler!

i text bro last night and he's all set to see the Olympic Torch today, and also the isle of man TT. what a day instore for him.

shopping and cleaning done, and then started my cooking for tomorrow. for my main course, i'm doing Steak & Guiness Pie with peas and mash, did the meat which will taste even better tomorrow. i'm doing 3 starters for tomorrow, summer soup, smoked chicken, mango & avocado salad, and mini fish & chips. my blip is of my litte chip cones, all cut to size and ready to be filled tomorrow.

me and mum had a little flutter on the Epsom Derby, but didn't win. Camelot (the favourite) won it.

Uncle Pete and Aunty Pam came to help me clear garden and put more Jubilee bunting up. had a beer with Uncle P, and we looked forward to 5 weeks today!

sorted a few more bits for tomorrow, framed my letter from HRH which will take pride of place tomorrow!

hope everyone enjoys the celebrations....this is something we will never see again in our lifetime, so lets all celebrate in style!
