Thursday, April 30, 2015 -- Happy to be Home

We are enjoying our southern California home base on the second evening of what we are calling our "49 - 11 Tour," which stands for 49 years and 11 months. The celebration started yesterday and we plan to thoroughly enjoy every day this month as we pinch ourselves and come to grips with the reality that on May 29th we will celebrate 50 years of marriage. 

After going out yesterday to Laguna Beach to kick-off the celebration, staying home today to enjoy this lovely view and this tub of warm bubbly water seemed like a grand idea. We stayed in the water till just before dark; then we showered off the chlorine water and enjoyed a delicious dinner that included part of my leftover "garlic and olive oil pasta" from last night's meal.

This has been a very warm day and a wonderful day.
