April Showers

I awoke this morning to heavy rain; it felt good to know the plants in the garden were getting a good soaking.  Still feeling tired but I got through the day and managed a quick trip to the garden centre at lunchtime to get some compost.  By the afternoon the rain had stopped and the sun appeared.  My evening seemed busy, packing to make a visit to see Mum, washing and generally sorting things out.  As I looked up from the garden the low evening sunshine cast a lovely glow against the rusty coloured bark of these Scot's pine trees.
